The Last Five Years is a powerful and emotional piece centering around the lives of two New Yorkers and their rollercoastering relationship from meeting, to marriage, to a rocky split. The show provides an unconventional point of view as Cathy tells her story backwards while Jaime tells his story on a chronological timeline, only allowing for them to meet in the middle on their wedding day. The show features only a two person cast, allowing an intimate look at a problematic relationship.
