Music Theatre of Wenatchee began in 1961 with its first Apple Blossom production, Rosalinda.  Over the past fifty years, MTW has presented over 70 musical productions, many straight plays, and even a few original works from local playwrights, as well as partnering with the Short Shakespeareans.

On September 30th, 2011, MTW will present a gala concert celebrating fifty wonderful years of music and theatre in the Wenatchee Valley.  The program will include songs from the past fifty years of MTW productions, all performed by people involved with MTW over the last fifty years.
