The Woes of Being a Wallace is a heartfelt dramatic comedy about the importance of family. It is the story of William Wallace (no, not the guy from the movie), a young man living in Boston, near his eccentric, and very Scottish grandparents, who took him in when his parents died. Everything changes when William announces he is engaged, and is moving to Los Angeles with his fiancé. The grandparents panic, and scheme ways to keep William from moving. Through a series of odd events, they lie to William, telling him his grandfather is deathly ill. He is faced with the decision of either starting a new life with his fiancé on the other side of the country, or staying with his family. You will laugh and cry as young William takes his journey of discovering the true definition of family.
