MTW will hold auditions for its Fall, 2014 musical, 9 to 5: The Musical, on August 18, 19, & 20, 2014 at 6:30 PM at the Riverside Playhouse.
DICK (male): Judy’s soon-to-be ex-husband. An average guy, he is sporting a little less hair and a little more paunch than he did ten years ago.
DORALEE (female): A young, sexy spitfire who works at Mr. Hart's office. She is proof that there is more to a woman than just her looks.
DWAYNE (male): Doralee’s attractive husband. He is very supportive of her professional pursuits.
FRANKLIN HART (male): One of the firm's executives and a notorious chauvinist. He is capable of faking charm but usually shows his true colors as an arrogant, self-absorbed boss.
JOSH (male): Violet’s awkward teenage son.
JUDY (female): The "new" girl at the firm, she has been burned by her husband's affair and is searching for personal empowerment. Insecure, determined, and hopeful.
ROZ KEITH (female): The attentive office gossip queen and snitch. She has an unrequited love for Mr. Hart and will do anything she can to win his approval.
VIOLET (female): The company's Head Secretary and Mr. Hart's Administrative Assistant, she is a single mother and typically stands up for what she believes in. Attractive, strong, ambitious.
Are you interested in directing or producing a show with MTW? MTW welcomes production proposals at any time according to the proposal deadlines below. For each time slot, proposals must be made by the following dates:
- Winter Show - By June 1, the calendar year before the show
- Apple Blossom Show - By March 1, the calendar year before the show
- June Show - By October 1, the calendar year before the show
- Fall Show - By December 1, the calendar year before the show
- Christmas Show - By June 1, the calendar year of the show
